This painting depicting a man with an hourglass as a head is Part of Caylen Faith's Court of Demon painting series. This installment represents Caylen Faith's feelings of impending doom and paranoia. This is highlighted through the almost empty hourglass, showing time is almost running out, as well as the character's fingers, which are counting down, but not yet at zero, showing whatever is feared is yet to come. The painting also features the words "Countdown to the explosion that shall ring for an Eternity." Emphasising the words "Countdown", "Ring", and "Eternity". These words again highlight a feeling of impending doom with this explosion being a metaphor for the fictional danger the artist sometimes perceives. the background also helps to convey this idea of an explosion that is oncomming with the bright explosive colors that have not yet overtaken the background.
